Had A Missed Period. Dr Advised On DB10 Tablets. Took It For 3 Days. Now Pregnancy Test Shows Positive. Side Effects For The Unborn?

My last period was on 21/06/2013. There after since I was not getting periods i went to a gynecologist he did usg test on 28/07/2013 and found negative. The gynecologist gave me DB10 tablets to start with regular period. I have taken 3 tab each days till 3 day but period did not started. thereafter i was feeling very uneasy and again I did test through pregnancy test strip & found positive . My question is that in between i had DB 10 tablets for 3 days probably during the period i was conceiving. what would the consequences and side effects of this tablets on the pregnancy...Pls advice I am worried?

Hi, the USscaning is the more reliable, than the strip test, in few days the pregnancy cant be formed. the strip test might be a false positive, means positive after one hour or so . If you want to confirm you should have a transveginal scaning again. So consult the gynecologist again for confirmation.
