Had A Short Frenulum With A Tight Skin Operation. What Is The Yellow Discharge Around The Stitches?

Hello doctor i had a short frenulum with a tight skin operation 6 days ago, now there is yellow discharge all aroudn the stitches of my frenulum, it is also sligtly swollen on the right side where the 2 skins meet of my tight skin operation and there is yellow liquid coming out of it. I Drink antibiotics and rub it with a gel called Fucidin. Please answer i am 18 and i m scared

Thanks for the query,

You might have developed a bacterial infection.

Suture line infection is a common problem.

Apply a topical antibiotic cream like mupirocine.

Also take an oral antibiotic like a third generation cephalosporin.

This will give you relief.
