Had An Unprotected Sex. Took Contraceptive Pills. Did Not Have Periods. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Sir. I had an unprotected sex(i:e Broken Condom) with my partner just a day before her expected periods. She had taken Emergency Conterseptive Pills (unwanted 72) immediately after sex. 4 days have passed but there is no periods till now. What are the chances of pregnancy? What should i do? When she can have her periods?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

One day before the expected day of period is considered as safe period for sex if lady has regular periods.
She has also taken post coital pills, so chances of pregnancy is almost negligible.
So, she should wait for sometimes as emergency contraceptive pills causes alteration in bleeding.
Don't worry and wait for some days.
If further any problem, consult obstetrician.

Take Care
