Had Bleeding, Low HCG Levels, Uterus Empty In Tests. Home Pregnancy Tests, Positive. What Does This Mean?

hello I tested positive on two home pregnancy test. Then two days after that I begin to bleed. I took another pregnancy test it read positive. after day 6 of bleeding I took a fourth pregnancy did read negative. I went to the hospital they stated that I was pregnant my hcg levels were low but higher than normal. they found nothing in the uterus. My question is why do i feel fluttering in my lower abdominal area if I'm no longer pregnant.

Hi,
It appears from the picture that you may have lost your pregnancy. HCG levels take some time to decline after an abortion or delivery. The feel of fluttering is a symptomatic one as even with a pregnancy, you cannot feel the baby until 16-20 weeks. I would ask you to repeat the serum beta-hCG levels after a couple of days and repeat the trans-vaginal sonogram to see the course of this pregnancy. Until then, take rest, avoid stress and intercourse. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
