Had Burn On My Hand While Changing Toilet Wax. Its Now Burning Till My Finger Tips. Medical Cure For This.

I was changing a toilet wax seal without gloves and had a burn on my hand also during the course I cut myself on the screws for the toilet, the toilet is definitely not clean and had a lot of guck and black crap line it. I tried washing my hand with carbolic soap but now I have a burning to my fingertips and my burn is paining. Did I accidently pick up e-coli and what can I take to kill this bacteria if any. Please don't laugh because we live in a third world country that don't have much places open on Weekends in order to protect oneself prior to doing DIY.

Thanks for the query,

You have developed an inflammatory reaction to the wax.

Please apply a mild steroid cream like desonide.

Take an anti inflammatory tablet like combiflam

If still there is no relief oral antibiotics will be required along with oral steroid

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
