Had Hyperhidrosis On Face And Head. Had Traumas In Life. Had Agoraphobia. Treatment?

yes,,for 6 years I have had hyperhidrosis of the face and head...I do NOT sweat under my arms at all nor anywhere else..I was told that very few thoractic Drs do this procedure since it is different from others..like the hands..feet...underarms...I am giving up..no life..no makeup, no hair do...I have had many traumas in my life but this takes the cake since I had agoraphobia for 10 years in my 30s..I had to heal myself..I was 5"6 and weighed 90 pounds..I could not go out to get food...having this now has put me back a lot since I CANT go out...is it all too much? yes it is...I have tried EVERYTHING for this..what a waste of money...their is one Dr. in San Antonio who does not collaps your lungs...which my primary care giver prefers but im in Manasquan NJ..and believe me..I cannot afford to go to Texas. I am depressed..lost..no one understands why I turn so red and need a towel to cool off..this is not living..but a nightmare I cannot wake from...I can't live like this..I really can't....is there any hope for me. Thank you in advance for reading this...Rebecca

Hi,
You do not worry about the hyperhidrosis on face and head. It is common condition we see off and on in our clinical practice. Though redness of face is a rare entity. I suggest you to meet a General physician who can rule out any systemic cause of the same. If there is no systemic illness then you do not worry about anything.
