Had Hysterectomy 32 Years Back. What Causes Abd Cramps After Intercourse?

What causes abd cramps after intercourse? I remember having these type cramps when I was a newlywed. I remember reading about this about 40 years ago. I had a hysterectomy (total) 32 years ago. I have been sexually inactive for several years. Now that I am sexually active again I can't remember the rational for these cramps or
