Had Lanced A Pilonidal Cyst. Have Blood And Gel Like Substance Coming Out Of The Lance Site. Is It Normal?
Hello, My boyfriend had a pilonidal cyst lanced about 4 months ago. This past week he has been reporting a little pain around the cyst location again. I looked at it tonight and there is blood and an almost gel like substance coming out of the lance site. The pain isnt as bad as the first time and it doesnt feel like there is a cyst reforming under the skin but shouldnt the lance site be scared over by now?
Pilonidal cyst has to be removed totally with its sheath.
He requires treatment is with antibiotics, and surgical removal of the cyst.
Please meet a surgeon for exact diagnosis and treatment.
