Had Meningioma Removed From Spinal Chord, Got Infected, Done Surgery To Remove Infection. Same Pain Occurring Now. Infection?

I had a meningioma removed from my spinal chord in jan then in march got an infection inside. He another surgery to drain the infection and had a pic line for 10 days. Yesterday I started having the same sort of pain as when I had the infection but not as severe. Is it possible to have another infection this far out?

Hello,

Just with the pain alone we can not conclude it to be an infection.

But CNS infections are deep seated and have chance of recurrence.

If you experience any fever and continuous pain then consult your doctor to rule out any infection.
