hi,
in case of irregular periods which can occur after miscarriage, there is chance of late ovulation so may be because of that your pregnancy test was negative,
anyhow once you undergo ultrasound to rule out the possibility of pregnancy and to assess the status of ovaries,
if needed and your doctor recommends you can take injections to induce ovulation which will help in the treatment and increase the chances of pregnancy.
take care.
