Had Neck And Face Lift. Worried About The Swelling. What Can Be Done?

I had a neck and face lift on June 28th just nine days ago, however, I am concerned about the swelling towards the back of the jaw line rlght below both ears. The next day when I saw the surgeon, he seemed upset and accused me of taking aspirin. I told him that I never do. Since supposedly he could't remove the tubes that drained the fluid from the procedure, I had to wait two days to have this done. The tech told me a week after the operation everything is coming along just fine but I concerned with the fluid which she tried to get out with a syringe to lower the swelling. This worries me because it changes the contour of my face. Regardless,as I was told all I can do is wait till this fluid is absorbed by my body. Will it be absorbed and will the swelling eventually subside.
