Had Onset Of Heart Palpitations. Arm Had No Sensations. Sore Left Jaw. Grinding My Teeth In Sleep. Headache When Woke Up. Treatment?

Hi. A few night ago I had an onset of heart palpatations. I've had them before and it didn't last very long and I soon went to sleep although I woke up during the night briefly because my arm went to sleep. In the morning I had a very sore left jaw. I figured I was grinding my teeth in my sleep but that is not normal for me to do. I am also having difficulty focusing my eyes at times. This morning I woke up to a terrible headache on the left side and hasn't gone away in the last 10 hours. Just seems to stay on the left side beside my eye. I'm not sure if I should go to the clinic or rest and take Motrin?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You SHOULD go the clinic and get yourself examined / investigated.

Irregular heart beats need to be DOCUMENTED by ElectroCardioGram (EKG).
Possibility of thrombus (clot) leading to embolism (displaced clot) is a real possibility, that needs to be investigated....
You may need Holter or event monitor. / ECHOcardiogram / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
