Had Partial Hysterectomy, Mild Bladder Prolapse, Have A Small Cervix, Experiencing Pain. Why Can I Strain Physically?

Hi. I had a partial hysterectomy 2and a half weeks ago. I did very well regarding any level of pain after surgery, however I've been experiencing pain for the past 3and a half days now- on the right lower side of abdomen and central pain low down by bikini line. The surgery was laparoscopic. I'm concerned I may have overdone it initially by moving around too much after surgery and possibly have a mild bladder prolapse. I have never had any children, my surgeon commented on the fact that I have a tiny cervix, and I did not even bleed one drop after surgery. I haven't had intercourse or done anything strenuous besides walking around, mild cleaning of my home, etc. I also have no urinary symptoms such as leakage, urgency to urinate often, etc. however, when I do urinate, I experience the (bladder) pain for that minute. Does it seem plausible that I can have a prolapse?....I have been calling my doctor daily and leaving messages with no call back.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Bladder prolapse is called cystitis.
It is one of the predisposition for urinary tract infection.
This may be cause of severe pain.
I suggest you to get urine analysis done.
Treatment depends on the culture report. Drink lot of water and have citrus fruits.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
