Had Plastic Surgery To Remove Birth Mark, Used Dissolvable Stitches, Feels Numb. Is There A Problem?

About 8 years ago I had plastic surgery to remove a birth mark, they used dissolvable stitches. About 4 years ago a surgeon pulled 2 out that were showing but I still have some in there. My question is, is there a problem? And I think I never got the feeling back, it feels numb when I touch it...

if there is no problem till now there will be no problem in future in my suggestion
as the nerves are toched with suture if left you feel numb if you touch it
in my opinion use some skin exercises over the area and avoid touching the area in my view
