Had Replacement Pacemaker Put In. Pain In Chest And Arm. Safe To Have Root Canal Removed?
I had a replacement pacemaker put in about 3 months ago I had a pacer for 6 years had some issues then with pain but this pacer appears to have caused different kind of pain and that pain is in the left part over and up my left chest the pain can be sharp then if use my left arm to rest on or to turn over to the other side it gives me pain. The new pacer does not sit down in my chest it sits a lot higher than the other one did, they told me they had to remove some scar tissue but the pacer still has not lowered itself as of yet. Concerned now had a root canal tooth break so need to have it removed is that safe for me to do I am to see a surgeon to have that done.
Your symptoms do not suggest Coronary Artery Disease – Pain from the heart is oppressing, in central chest (and left), worse on effort, relieved by rest, may radiate to shoulders and arms, associated with sweating and so on. This pain is likely to be muscular. The dental procdure is safe... Just check with your cardiologist / with more than one lead, you may need prophylaxis for Infective Endocarditis...
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
