Had Safe Sex, Problem Of Getting Periods Twice, No Periods Yet. Is There A Risk Of Pregnancy?

Me n ma gl frnd had safe sex on 20th of this month ,she had some period prblm lyk some time period happens twice in a month so she consult doctor n treatment is going ,her period date s today still she didn't get period ,pls tel me y she didn't period ,whether there s possibility of pregnency,she don't want pregnency ,tel docotor now wat l we do and this late period because treatment or what v confused gv suggestion

Thanks for posting your query to HCM,

After going through your history,there is history of safe sex, then chances of pregnancy are very less but you have not mentioned about the barrier method was used because there are failures of such methods.

If it is safe period method was trusted then he period is irregular and period is delayed then she should get urine pregnancy test to be sure, although it is possible to have delayed period due to treatment if she is taking hormone tablets.
If even after safe sex there is doubt then one can use emergency contraceptive pills to be safe for unwanted pregnancy.

If pregnancy test is negative then wait for 1 week and repeat test if test is positive then you have to consult a Gynecologist and future action depend on result of test .
