Had Severe Pain In The Back Of The Neck.Reason?

i am experiencing a very bad pain at the back of my neck al through to the sides up to my ear and this is so unconfortable that some time i have to support the back of my neck by holding it for some few minutes. this has been going on for more than sis month. some times it feels like there is so much pressure on my neck. i am begining to get worried
