Had Successful Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery. Is It Safe To Take Adderall Or Any Other Alternative?

Hello -
8 months ago I underwent successful aortic valve replacement surgery and am feeling excellent. I am 24 years old. I also recently considered looking into a prescription for adderall, as I have had one in the past. Since my valve has been replaced with no complications, is it safe to take adderall now, or should I not? Is there an alternative? Any and all insight on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dante

Hi,
Adderall is contraindicated in symptomatic heart disease. So this medication is contraindicated for you.
I recommend that you talk with your doctor to find another alternative for your disease.
Hope i answered to your question?
