Had Surgery For Inguinal Hernia And Varicocele. Enlarged Scrotum After Surgery. How Long Will It Take To Recover?
hi my husband hd undergine surgery nearly 2weeks back for right side inguinal hernai and left varicocele together.the next day of his operation the scrotumm size was small...bt later three days after surgery till today his scrotum size was big as the size before surgery..but it have to be get reduced to normal size know?why this happening?butwe had asked doctor wh did surgery he told tat there will be enlargement for few days later itself will become to normal size which we cnt understand.kindly clarify

Swelling due to edema and small amount of ooze of blood is common after varicocele surgery,which gets settle of its own in a week time.Infection of surgical wound could be anther reason ofr swelling,which if present will subsides with a course antibiotic .
