Had Syphilis, Got Cured With Penicillin Injection. Now Report Shows Active In 2 Dilution. Meaning?

hi.. Doctor , I had syphillis on 2010 . after pencillin injection , it got cured . And for next 2 year my VDRL was non reactive. But recently when i checked my status , the report was Activate in 2 dilution . what does it mean ? is it saying that i got syphillis again ? is it possible to get cure again after the re occurance of syphillis ? Please answer for my doubts . Thank you .

Hi there ~

I understand your concern, however syphilis is something that can be back if you are not having safe sex. I would like you to consult your physician regarding medications and appropriate advise regarding safe sexual practices. I do believe there is a cure for your condition at the present time, however in the future you need to practice safe sex and use protection so as to not end up with syphilis or another sexually transmitted disease.
