Hello,
Thyroid is a hormone which is essential for working of all body systems. TSH level detects the deficiency of this hormone well before the symptoms are caused due to deficiency.
This is called as asymptomatic hypothyroidism.
As, her TSH level is high she needs to take the medication prescribed, even if she dont have any symptoms.
She should take the medication daily morning empty stomach.
The TSH levels need to be checked after about 6 weeks for dose adjustment, if needed.
Hope this information is helpful.
