Had Thyroidectomy, On Levothyroxine, Growing Number Of Goiters On Thyroid, Hair Thinned. What To Do?

hello, I have had a thyroidectomy. I am now on Levothyroxine 125. and am doing very well. I was growing a number of goiters on my thyroid and it was increasingly hard to swallow. My hair has thinned especially on the sides. What in your opinion should I do about it to help the problem?

Hi, Since you already undergone thyroidectomy ( ? partial) and now you are having any new growing nodules, you might need revaluation & imaging to look for the nature of these nodules and to look for the cause of dysphagia. Latter on you might need fine needle aspiration or biopsy of tissue to confirm the etiology.Thinning of hair is most probobly related to thyroiddisease . So i would advice you to consult your treating physician, so that he can organize for you appropiate investigations. Hope it helps.
