Hi and thanks for using this forum for your health questions.
I am so sorry about what you are feeling right now.
Unprotected sex is a major risk factor for STDs and each time you are involved in unprotected sex, the chances of getting contaminated or contaminating others are real.
Fro the description of your symptoms,
genital herpes is the main culprit here. However, we can think of other possible causes like
chancroid,
syphilis etc but these are less likely.
If the number of lesions are few, they normally disappear after a few days without any specific treatment. However, if they become numerous/extensive, then you may need treatment with
aciclovir.
For now, i suggest you meet and discuss with you doctor. He will also run tests to make sure the other STDs are not a concern at this time. Also, he will determine whether for real you need treatment for this condition now or not.
Please, for now avoid unprotected sex.. Also, get protection each time you have sex for your safety and that of your partner.
Hope this helps and feel free to come back if you need more infection.
Wish you good health.
