Had Unprotected Sex. Worried About Getting Pregnant. Suggest Preventative Steps
Hi, I had unprotected sex by using pullout method. My period date was on 8th dec and i had sex on 18th dec. My partner told he had ejaculated outside only and he was not sure whether any few drops had ejaculated inside. And Iam worried now that there are any chances of getting pregnant. I had papaya also as some told that it will help in preventing pregnancy. Please suggest me any preventive steps for pregnancy instead of using ipill. And is ipill safe to use or any problems will occur in future ? Kindly suggest me in this. Thanks in advance. Waiting for your reply.

Your LMP was on 8th Dec.So your ovulation occurs around 22nd Dec (unsafe 18th-26th Dec) or 24th Dec (unsafe 20th-28th Dec) if previous cycle was regular.
You did unprotected sex without ejaculation inside on 18th Dec,near about ovulation time or risk zone.So chance of pregnancy is minimal (as pre cum/pre prostatic fluid,secreted prior to actual ejaculation, contains sperm and causes pregnancy sometimes).
You need to take emergency pill (I-Pill) immediately within 72 hrs of sexual intercourse as after that it has no effect on preventing unwanted pregnancy.
So wait for the next coming period and if missed,do a urine test for hcg/pregnancy test after 7 days.
Check result and consult with your gynecologist to take suggestive measures.
Practice safe sex in future. Be well.

The failure rate of the withdrawal method are very high and it should not be trusted for protecting against pregnancy. The chances of getting pregnant depends on the time of ovulation. If you have a cycle of less than 30days then chances of pregnancy are higher in your case. At this moment you can hardly do any thing, the time of Ipill is over.
If you miss the period then consult a gynecologist and under his supervision take the medical termination of pregnancy regimen.
Eating papaya is good for health, but I do not believe it can help a hapless lady for that purpose.

Look, no food can cause abortion by itself.
Secondly, in your case, if pregnancy has already occurred then you have to go for medical termination of pregnancy using medicines like mifepristone.
So, just do a pregnancy test on or after the day of missed period. Then consult with a gynecologist for further management according to the reports.
