Had Unprotected Sex, Brown Discharges. Pregnant? Infection?
hi am princess had unprotected sex two weeks ago too a progesterone only drug one pill a day after and had unprotected sex five days ago and am seeing brown discharges although am suppose to see my menstruation by end of this month, what do you think is causing the brown discharge? apart from the discharge no other issues, am i pregnant or have an infection?
Progesterone only pills are to be taken daily for protection. If you had unprotected sex, getting pregnant cannot be ruled out until you have had your periods. Taking a single progesterone only pill doesnt work.
I suggest you wait until your periods start and for a week after that. Then you can get yourself tested using the home pregnancy kit at least 15 days after possible unprotected sex. This test is usually accurate in most patients.
You must take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected sex and this pill must be taken only when required and not all the time. You may choose to take progesterone only pills regularly.
Hope this helps
