Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

The chances of pregnancy can vary during different days of your cycle. As you have mentioned you had intercourse during your ovulation phase, the chances of pregnancy are certainly present, although it would have helped to know how long your cycle lasts and which day of your cycle you had intercourse.

As you have not provided this information, I shall go ahead and provide you with information on the days of a regular 28 day cycle which carry a higher chance of getting pregnant than the others.

-Day 8 till day 19 -- High chances of getting pregnant
-Day 1 till day 7 and day 20 till day 28 -- Less/nil chances of getting pregnant

This is called the Calendar method, but is not very effective. For some, this has proved to be a very effective method, but due to various reasons there can be changes in a woman's cycle and the number of days involved, these causes can make this method ineffective.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
