Had Unprotected Sex. No Bleeding. Delayed Periods. Pregnancy?

Hi I had unprotected sex on the 22nd of august and have no bleeding so far (where I have heard it is suppose to happen within 10 to 12 days and today is the 11 th day,)my periods last month was on the 9th, am really confused if am pregnant or no because I did take postpone 72 after 4 ,5 hrs of sex that day. You think I should have bled by now or wait n see for my menstruation date,?am worried.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you took the emergency pill within time, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
Emergency pill can alter the menstrual cycle, depending depending on the period of the cycle when you took the pill.
So possibly the delay in your periods could be due to that.
You wait till your expected date of periods, if you do not get periods by that time, go for pregnancy test once.
If the test comes negative, consult gynecologist once and take tablets for withdrawal bleeding.

Hi,
As you took emergency contraceptive after 4-5 hours of sex and if there is no withdrawal bleeding within 4-5 days, risk of having pregnancy is there.
Wait till 7-8 days passed of your expected date of period.
If no period then go for pregnancy test.
