Hands Get Spongy And Wrinkled A Few Seconds After Water Soaking. Why?

Hi, you know when your hand has been in water for a long time, it goes all wrinkly and a bit spongy. Well I get that after my hands have been in water for just a few minutes. E.g. I am just out of a quick bath and you d think my hands had been soaking for 2 hours, they are all wrinkled and the lines on my palms are extremely swollen and a little bit sore because of it. It really frustrates me and wonder if there is anything specific causing it?
