Hard Bump In Ear, Thorn Like. Can I Remove It?

Hi Dr. Christensen, I have this little hard bump at about the middle of outer ear (I put my finger under top ear fold into cavity immediately below and it s in the middle) and it feels rough almost like a little horn growing out of the cartiledge? ...and sometimes I can remove it, and it looks like a little pale stone almost but then it grows back again! Is this something I should be concerned about?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello and welcome to HCM,

You seem to be having a case of blocked ear and mass which has to be properly evaluated by an ENT as only on proper examination can a diagnosis can be made and the treatment initiated.

Furthermore, of you are able to clean it then the ENT can actually clean it better and maybe permanently

In conclusion you need to consult your ENT for that peace of mind!

take care
