Hard Bump Next To Mouth Pricked By Needle, Swelling Around It, Pain. Advise?

I have had a zit like bump next at the corner of my mouth and it has been hard....yesterday my friend stuck a needle in it to get it ro a head. Brand new needle out of package usually used for sterile water. Nothing really came out but blood, and this am my face is swollen around it. I dont feel heat from the swelling, but it is painful. Have i infected it by putting my hands on it?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that you are having hair follicle infection and now by disturbing and pushing bump produced infection and cellulitis.
Ok and bye.
Consult your doctor and go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Clean the wound with antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream.
It is advisable to do the dressing by doctor only for proper cleaning and dressing.

It is not proper to meddle with that area - it is called 'danger area of the face' and has indirect venous connections with those inside the skull. Never attempt again
