Hard Knot Behind Skin Of Navel, Painful If Touched, Bloating And Sore During Periods
Ive had a small hard knot behind the skin of my navel. The top of it is behind the bottom part of my navel and its botton hemisphere dips below it. It is EXTEMELY PAINFUL if directly touched and the area seems to bloat and become sore during menstration. When my dr applied minimal pressure i instinctively leaped off the chair and tears filled my eyes. He then told me i was just sensitive. I know this is not normal. Its too painful. Please please help.
Hello user, I think its a classical feature seen in endometriosis, which is presence of uterine tissue elsewhere in body, as you are complaining of increased in soreness during menses.
You are advised to have some tests like USG of the lesion done to rule out any coldabscess, and then you are advised to visit a nearby surgeon to have your lesion excised from that region.
Wishing you good health. Dr Hari Om Chandrakar MBBS
