I have a hard lump at the back of my neck it s 1.5 cm. it has got bigger, it doesn t hurt. It s been there since January 2012.. The last 3 wks I have became very tired, I have a very sore lower back and my stomach feels constantly in knots..... I have lost 4 kg in weight since March 2012. I am only 50kgs and i am 5 ft 5 in.. Below the biggest lump there is another smaller one it s an odd shape, sort of reminds me of a peanut. It is not as prominent... Blood tests continue to show low lym, low neut low pcv... Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
Loss of weight, nodes on back of neck needs further evaluation to look for any chronic infection such as tuberculosis.
Investigations like sedimentation rate, chest x ray, mantoux test has to be done to rule out tuberculous infection.
Biopsy has to be done on the enlarging lymph node for histopathological examination to know the nature of swelling.
Bone marrow study may be required if the counts are low.
Therefore I suggest you to consult physician for physical examination and for further investigations.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
