Hi,
It seems that you are having sebaceous cyst, also known as
epidermoid cyst.
Sebaceous cysts most often arise from swollen hair follicles.
Skin trauma can also induce a cyst to form. A sac of cells is created into which a protein called keratin is secreted.
The main symptom is usually a small, non-painful lump beneath the skin.
If the lump becomes infected or inflammed, other symptoms may include:
Skin redness
Tender or sore skin
Warm skin in the affected area
Grayish-white, cheesy, foul-smelling material may drain from the cyst.
Treatment....
#If, there is infection, take ashort course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs.
#Epidermoid cysts are asymptomatic, dome-shaped lesions.
#The minimal excision technique for epidermoid cyst removal is less invasive than complete surgical excision and does not require suture closure.
Do not worry , this is OPD procedure done under local anasthesia.
I hope you got my answer..
