Has Cellulitis. Has Raised Black Area In Center Of Shin. Normal?
My husband is being treated with antibiotics for cellulitis. This morning we noticed that a raised black area - about an inch long has appeared in the centre of his shin. Is this normal? The swelling of the cellulitis is going down and the rest of the area is looking bright red, rather than a deep maroon colour. He was in hospital for three days and has been home with the oral antibiotics for 3 days
