Has Been Teething With High Temperature. Taking Tylenol. Is This The Right Medication?
My son has been teething for the last 3 day, last night he was running a high temp around 103 which I was able t break. Today he was fine no fever normal activity but now tonight he is sweating and has a temp of 95.0 this was taking under the arm do u think that is okay I had giving him some Tylenol for pain about and hour before the temp was taken

There no need to worry, the above symptoms are due to dental reasons (teething).
Fever, restlessness, loose motions can occur in the child during teething.
I would suggest you to take the child to the physician and get the checkup done.
Maintain a good oral hygiene of the child to prevent infections.

Teething in childrens is often associated with pain , swelling in the gums , fever and mild discomfort .
These symptoms are normal nothing to worry about.
our child needs symptomatic treatment , for fever relief you can give antipyretic medication, paracetamol tablet or oral suspension along with antibiotic .
i would suggest you to go for symptomatic treatment at home like gargling with lukewarm saline water or antiseptic mouthwash like chlorhexidine to prevent infection and promote teething.
Tylenol can be used to reduce pain and minimize fever .

Fever,nausea,headache,diarrhoea are the usually associated symptoms with teething.
Teething rings can be given to your chld to enhance teething.
The symptoms will subside once the teeth erupts.
Meanwhile plenty of fluids and vitamin rich diet has to be administered.
To prevent dehydration,oral rehydration solution can be given.
Please give pieces of carrot ,apple to bite on.
