Has Irregular Periods. On Duphaston. Has PCO's. Trying For Baby. Recommendations?

my wife is having irregular periods. we have used duphoston for 3 months but she couldent able to get pregnancy.we used clomid (3rd day to 8th day),12 th day after mensuration doctor did the scan and told there is no ovulation because of PCO s .and she prescribed duphoston again and clomid 100 mg.are we going in right direction??????????????

PCOS is a condition that frequently causes anovulation, and as a result irregular and delayed as well as scanty periods.
As you did not respond to clomiphene the first time, the dose might have been increased this time.
In case there is no response to higher doses of clomiphene, you might need higher order medications in the form of gonadotropins and injections etc to produce ovulations.
Also, weight loss, diet and lifestyle modifications are an important part of PCOS treatment.
You might need metformin to get better results.
CONsult a fertility specialist at the earliest.
