Has Peptis Escavatum. Why Is There Pain And Discomfort With Headache?
Hi, I am a 24 year old female, who has a peptis escavatum my who life since birth. Recently it has been bugging me; some pain and discomfort, cant sleep certain ways any more, when I sit or move certain ways, or when my child laid her head on my right chest plate I literally felt it sink in like a sponge it did hurt a little and became hard to breath a littel..... What does this mean?
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Pain may be because of exaggeration of the deformity or due to pressure on skeleton and musculature because of child weight. You can take calcium supplements for bone strength. If the pain is significant, take ibuprofen in prescribed dose with food. Change the position frequently and don't sit for prolonged periods in one posture. Sit and lie down in accurate and straight posture. If the pain persists consult the orthopedician for examination and further advise. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
