Has Persistent Low Grade Fever While On TB Treatment. Is It Normal ?

hi
I am on the 4th week of tb treatment. before treatment i was suffering from very high fever of 104 degree 3 times a day, lost about 7 kgs of weight and there were cough and night sweat as well. but after taking the anti tb drugs the fever became a low grade one which comes every evening(100.5/101 F) and it is persistent, other symptoms except cough have already resolved. so could you pls confirm whether the treatment is on right direction as iam really worried about the fever. i took medicine for the last 22 days.
thanks

Hi,
As there is quite good improvement in your health and symptoms after treatment suggests that you are on correct line of treatment.
Gradually all symptoms will be alright.
Keep watch on your appetite, gaining weight etc which will give you measurement of your recovery.
Take high protein diet.
Continue treatment regularly and daily.
Ok and take care.
