My daughter had a cysts re moved from her breast, she now has milk coming out of the incision, . The Dr. said he may have nicked a mammory gland , is this normal? now he says she may have a tumor pressing on her pituitary gla
nd, please tell me what to tell her ,she is so scared I.m sorry i did not know this would cost me iI don't have the money please disregard this question

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Nick on mammary gland will not cause milk to ooze out.
Milk is secreted physiologically only during pregnancy.
Other causes of milk secretion is prolactinoma which can press on her pituitary gland.
It is a benign tumor and treatable with medicines.
I suggest her to get prolactin levels tested.
Medical treatment may be needed if levels are high
