Has Smoking And Alcohol Has Any Effect On Hypothyroidism ?
Hello my name is Alex I am 23 and my sons name is Kayden he is 4 years old. my son has hypothyroidism and takes levothyroxine every day. I smoke pot and I was wondering when my son gets older if he chooses to smoke pot how is his hypothyroidism be affected by that. I don t drink or smoke cigarettes however how would both alcohol and cigarette smoke affect him too?

Smoking is not well know to have much specific side effects with hypothyroidism.
But smoking is well known overall harmful habit .
Should always be avoided.
It not only harms the persons who smokes, but also effects negatively to the individuals in the surrounding.
So better to quite smoking.
