Have HPV Infection. Redness, Itching On Penis After Sex Or Masturbation. Any Advice?
Hello I have some skin problems on my face, scalp, dry skin in ears... I also have hpv. Over the past few years I have also had a red, mildly itchy patch of skin on the base of my penis that has come and gone, it seems to appear more so after sex or masterbating... But now it is always present, some days worst than others. Sometimes you can bearly see it, other days it lightly peels. I've read a few things about this being a possible Sighn of cancer down there. Any advice, I'm making an apt. with a Der. today but need alittle piece of mind before I go in.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Itchy scaly rashes over face, ears, scalp and pubic area could be due to a type of eczema known as seborrheic dermatitis. It can be treated with antifungal ketoconazole shampoos and steroid creams effectively. I do not think there is any sign or symptom possibly indicating cancer. I woulf advice that you meet a dermatologist nearby to confirm the diagnosis and start treatment Hope that helped. Take care.
