I have been hsv-1 positive most of my life, I rarely ever get outbreaks. However, some 26 days ago I came across two small zit-like blisters in my pubic hair, rather large, and I know they aren't ingrown hairs b/c I've had extensive experience with those. I instantly assumed that the virus had spread somehow, however, since coming across the two blisters, nothing has happened. They haven't burst, they aren't painful, they appear to be the same size, they aren't multiplying, and if they are itchy then it's so negligible that I can't even tell. Can herpes blisters go for 26 days without bursting? If not is it safe to assume this isn't genital herpes? I had been to the doctor just days before I found them for an std test and nothing new showed up so what else could these be?
