Have Hemorrhoid. Used PrepH. Not Bleeding. Healing Time?

I'm 17 and I got my first hemorrhoid two days ago. I don't want to bring it up to a doctor or my mum if i don't have to, so what should I do!? I purchased some PrepH yesterday, and it brings down the itching, but It hasn't gone down at all. I don't know how long they last. It's only about a pea size and I'm thinking its external because its not bleeding. I'm pretty sure it's not thrombosed as its not blackish or excruciating. It's sort of purple in color, and sort of squishy. Sorry, it's gross It mainly hurts when I clench, but it isn't unbearable. I'm just scared because I haven't had one before. My self esteem is really down and i feel emotionally horrible. Help, I don't know what to do!

Hi,
As you got for the first time, you may get relieved of it.
Avoid constipation.
Take laxative daily at night.
Take plenty of water.
Take more fibers in your diet.
Change your food style and avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
continue applying cream.
