hi
i am sorry to hear about your daughter' ailments
and speacially when she suffers even after chemotherapy, steroids and splenectomy
i am unclear as to the actual levels of platelets
cause in itp, a platelet level of approx 50000 is supposed to be good
her platelet count may be never normal
but if she is not bleeding and the count is around 50000, you dont have to worry

therapy wise two options are left to u
one is a newer drug that is being used very commonly now- eltrombopag. meet your dr regarding it. it is quite effective in many resistant cases
second i am sure you already know- bone marrow transplantation

i hope this answers you
and you found it helpful
best of luck
