Have A Cervical Fusion. Now Have Itching, Rash On Neck. Surgeon Used Titanium With Plastic, Metal Discs And Bovine Collagen. Allergy?

I had a cervical fusion at three levels on 5/13/13 and since then have had severe itching and rash across my neck, arms and feet. The surgeon used titanium with plastic, metal discs and bovine collagen. He states he has never had anyone allergic to the implants. I saw an Allergist today who is looking into the possibility and will probably do a MELISA test on me later this week. Nothing else has changed as far as soaps, food, bedding, etc since my surgery. What is the likelihood this could be caused by the implants?

Hi, the allergy could be due to cosmetics, decoration pieces, paints, flowers etc.
Make a list of everything you use all the day, and make one by one omiting if you get some relief by ometing it may be the allergen. If nothing is found, it must be one of the things used by the doctor. Thank you.
