Have A Huge Knot On The Thigh. Red, Swollen, Hurts. Bump Is Purple. Cannot Walk Properly. Treatment?

Hi. I have a huge knot on the inside of my upper thigh. the area is red and swollen and hurts. if my legs touch the pain is almost unbearable. the bump itself is now purple and it seems to be getting worse. the area around the bump is hot and red and is extremely large in size. it pretty much goes from the front of my thigh to the back. I am not sure what this is but i really cant function or walk properly.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having ingrowing hair follicle infection leading to swelling forming abscess.
Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Do proper dressing after proper cleaning with antiseptic lotion.
Ok and take care,
