Have A Slight Fever. Felt Throat Closing Up. Puked A Little Blood. Puking It Even Now, On Counter Medications. Over Dose Of Medicines?
I have at least a slight fever . My muscles feel really sore. I felt like my air way in my throat was closing up. I just puked up a small amount of blood . I looked at the back of my throat and there is blood draining down my throat. I started puking up blood very rarely back when I was a teenager. It s gotten worse over the years. It s been about 10 years since I puked up blood for the first time ever. I did over take on over the counter medications for a while. Is it possible that the puking of blood could be due to over taking on medications?
What I thought this was isn't even close to what I found out I ended up having.
Puking of blood can be one side effect of the medications like anti-fever drugs, NSAIDS etc (paracetamol, diclofenac, ibuprofen etc) , that are available over the counter medications. Some antibiotics can do cause, also
They cause gastritis that damages blood vessels of stomach giving rise to blood in vomitus
For, this, medicines like pantoprazole group of drugs helps. Endoscopy would be helpful for diagnosis. You need to consult a physician
