HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The loss of the mucus plug usually signals that labour is going to start but the time frame may vary from one person to the next.
In some cases the onset of labour is a within a few hours and in others it can be up to a week later.

In labour the contractions are usually at regular intervals. When you start having regular contractions then you should visit your doctor.

If you are unsure and wish for an evaluation by your doctor sooner, then you can do that.

I hope this helps
