Have Bartholon Cyst Along With Flaring Ultcerativecolitis. Will Prednisone Help In Curing Both?
hello...this is for my daughter 25years old and has had a bartholon cyst prior and has now gotten another one. She also has ulcerativecolitis, which is flaring atm...will the prednesone she was given, but not taken as yet...help the cyst as well ? sorry if this is a bit vague.

Usually bartholin's cyst doesn't require any treatment till it causes some symptoms. Prednisone will not be of much help if the cyst is not infected.
If the cyst is infected and turns into abscess it would help in decreasing the inflammation.
But the definitive treatment is incision and drianage or marsupialization..
