Have Been Diagnosed With Figrocystic Breast And Mammogram
Having a diagnostic mammogram tomorrow and I have figrocystic breasts but haven't had any issues for many years - my mammogram a couple weeks ago showed calcification - should I be concerned??
Sorry for the question - I will google and find my answer - I'm an RN and should have done that in the first place LOL Sorry again !
I am so sorry to hear about this. A fibrocystic disease really has no potential of becoming cancerous in future. I would not think you should be particularly concerned ore than any other person in the general population who is going in for this test. I wish you the best of possible outcomes. Just be relaxed and let's see what we get.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Feel free to ask for clarifications and more information if need be. I wish you well. Thanks for utilizing our services, we very much appreciate it. Dr. Ditah, MD.
